You may fill in all or some of the above fields. If you leave everything empty and just press search, then you will get all gigs listed in the database. More results makes search slower though, so if you're using a slow internet connection, it's recommended to make a more exact search for your needs (although the difference shouldn't be huge). Especially choosing search by country as not "All countries" will make search faster.
When you search using city and/or band -fields, you don't need to type the whole name; if you search for gigs in Helsinki, for example, you can type "hel" and get listings of gigs happening in cities including "hel" at the beginning, middle or end of it's name. You can use only one of these fields at one time. If you use both, band -field will take effect and city -field doesn't effect
Also you may type home country in the band -field and see where bands from specific country might be touring.
